On Sunday, March 27, 2005, the seminary was delighted to have the archpastoral visit of His Grace, NIKOLAI, Bishop of Sitka, Anchorage, and Alaska (OCA). Bishop Nikolai presided at the Divine Liturgy at the invitation of His Beatitude Metropolitan HERMAN, and offered words of support and encouragement to the faculty, staff, students, and worshipping community. Fr Paul Lazor, rector of Three Hierarchs' Chapel, welcomed His Grace on behalf of the Dean and the seminary community.

This was the first time that Bishop Nikolai presided at the Divine Liturgy at St Vladimir's Seminary. We look forward to the next time His Grace is able to visit with us.
