St Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary - News Releases News Release OCA Department of Christian Witness and Service to Host "Faith in Action!" Conference at SVS

Crestwood, NY—A unique opportunity for those involved in Christian ministry will take place on campus at SVS from July 28-31, 2004. The Department of Christian Witness and Service (OCA) is hosting a conference themed "Faith in Action!" which will focus on four areas of ministry: parish, community outreach, family, and senior life. Through keynote speakers, panel discussions, and over twenty workshops, participants will receive training and resources, as well as benefit from the opportunity to exchange ideas with one another. Participants are encouraged to bring photos and examples of their projects to share at the exhibit area during the conference.

To obtain a registration form and conference schedule online, visit the OCA website. Those who send in their registration form postmarked before July 1 will pay $100. After July 1 the fee is $150. Special registration rates are available for those who want to participate for only one day or evening. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
