Seminary Choir Sings At Local Hospital Award Ceremony

Crestwood, NY—A group consisting of both students and seminarians' wives from St Vladimir's Seminary sang yesterday before a gathering at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY. SVS seminarians enjoy a time-honored relationship with Lawrence Hospital. The Rev. Dr Sarah Fogg, Director of Pastoral Care, supervises SVS seminarians who go to there to fulfill the requisite field education in practical theology. “We were happy to accept her invitation for us to sing as a way to say thank you for the excellent service she has given to our seminarians over the years,” said Deacon Kevin Smith, who directed the choir.

The occasion was a ceremony in which the Health Care Chaplaincy (HCC) gave the annual Wholeness of Life award to honor a health care professional who cares for the body, mind, and spirit of hospital patients. The recipient was Kerrianne Page, MD, a physician at Lawrence Hospital.
