CRESTWOOD, NY (SVS): On Wednesday, April 2, a choir of seminarians from St Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in Crestwood, New York, sang during the Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts at St Sergius of Radonehz Chapel in Syosset, NY. At the invitation of His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN, the seminary choir attended the liturgy which was held during the spring session of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA) at the Chancery.

His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN, primate of the Orthodox Church in America, celebrated the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, which was attended by the hierarchs of the Holy Synod. Deacon Kevin Smith of St Vladimir's Seminary assisted at the service.

Following the liturgy, His Beatitude welcomed the seminarians. The members of the choir, which sang under the direction of Professor David Drillock, were invited to share a brunch and talk with the hierarchs prior to the reconvening of the Holy Synod meetings.
