The St Vladimir's Seminary Chorale have recently returned from their spring tour of the Midwest. Beginning in Chicago, they visited thirteen churches as they made their way back eastward in their goal to participate in the 101st Annual Pilgrimage of St Tikhon’s Monastery in South Canaan, Pennsylvania, on May 27, 2005.

At each stop on their tour, the Chorale sang for a liturgical service in a host parish and performed a concert as well, explaining the origins and context of each hymn.

Besides the diversity of hymnography in their singing program, the 2004-2005 Chorale is an international group, with students hailing from Canada, France, Romania, and Serbia. Others in the group come from all over the Unites States such as California, Florida, Illinois, and Indiana. As seminarians enrolled in graduate programs which train them to fill roles of Church leadership, this experience of singing, traveling, and making connections with parishioners and parish priests across a broad geographical area is a priceless part of their seminary experience.
